There is only one thing trophy hunters like more than earning a platinum trophy, and that’s showing off said trophy to others. That’s why there are dozens of different ways people have concocted to share their collections whether through the internet or even in person.
I created the PSN Trophy Mosaic and Backlog Checklist Generator with one goal in mind: for it to be the tool that I wanted to use for myself. With more than 200 platinum trophies under my belt, I have a lot of opinions on what a trophy hunting supplement like this should be able to accomplish. Attention was given for it to not only be functional, but for it to be beautiful as well.
So what are you waiting for? Plug in your PSN username below and start building your very own trophy mosaic or backlog checklist! Whether you’re showing off your many conquests or planning out your to-do list, we’ve got you covered.

How to Use the Generator
- Enter your PSN username in the “Import from PSN” box. Click the Import PSN button.
- Select which mode you’d like to use. “Platinum Showcase” only returns games you’ve earned the platinum trophy (or 100%) for. “Backlog Checklist” only returns games that you have started, but have not yet achieved 100% completion in.
- Adjust the settings for how you’d like your generated mosaic to look. You can change the theme, sort, number of columns, how many games, and more.
- Adjust export specific settings under advanced settings as desired. You can change export quality, padding, and format here.
- If you’d like to create a mosaic with only specific titles, you can do so in the “Curated Shelf” section. Type in what you’d like to display, with each title separated by a comma. You will want to select “All Trophy Games” as your mode to ensure your selections appear.
- Scroll down and view a preview of your mosaic and/or backlog checklist. When you’re ready, press the “Export PNG” button to download a copy.

Developer Notes
- Please give up to five minutes for the tool to fetch your PSN data. When there is low traffic on the backend system’s server, it spin downs and requires “warming up.” This is normal.
- The tool automatically tries to connect to the server up to three times to mitigate any further frontend implications beyond a short wait.
- If you’re curious about the inner workings of this technology, you can read more about it here.
- On mobile, the mosaic preview defaults to two columns. The number of columns you select in the tool will be what is used for the PNG export, and will not necessarily match what you see on the webpage. This is intentional.
- If you’d like to share your mosaic with someone else, you can press the link button. This link will automatically fill out your username and layout selections for whoever you share it with.
- It is possible to view the raw data used to generate your mosaic in the “Manual data / backup” section. This is here for more advanced users. It also serves as a fail-safe option for those who cannot import their PSN data.
- There are eight colorful themes for you to choose from. The intention is for users to have a good number of options without overwhelming the interface. While many mosaic generators stick to more utilitarian designs, we opted for more whimsical and bright options. After all, a platinum trophy mosaic is a celebration of your gaming accomplishments.
- The backlog checklist option does not pull platinum trophy icons into the generator. The philosophy is simple: these have not been earned yet! Instead, the tool uses game cover art.
