Or will he cast it all aside for the chance at something more exciting?
Depending on whom you pursue as your lover, the game may very well descend into chaos the likes of which may best be described as a fever dream. This lawlessness is the perfect setting for a trophy hunter to spend their trickster’s holiday.
To earn “The Cheeky Lamb,” you must defy all societal niceties by peeking into a confessional from outside. It’s a simple achievement in what is widely considered to be a difficult trophy hunt. That’s all the more reason why this trophy would make a great choice for April Fool’s Day; in essence, you’d be pranking your future self by signing up for a tough platinum trophy!

Untitled Goose Game needs little introduction. It’s all right there in its name; sow the seeds of anarchy as nature’s most devious harbinger of violence: the goose. Those who have been unlucky enough to encounter them in their daily lives will testify to their ferocity. These lived experiences make Untitled Goose Game’s chaotic humor all the more visceral.
One such way the Goose can create discord is to purposefully trip a boy, causing him to fall into a puddle. To do this, you need to find the boy with the striped sweater and lure him to the nearby puddle. Then, simply untie his shoelaces and watch your dastardly deed unfold. Doing so successfully unlocks the aptly named trophy, “Ghastly.”
There’s a fine line between staging a harmless prank and being a bully, but anything goes so long as you’re a goose. Use that to your advantage to perform all manner of wrongdoings in the name of April Fool’s Day.

5. Night in the Woods
Looking for some just desserts for your shenanigans? While not a dessert per se, this achievement might be more up your alley.
Mae is a disillusioned college student visiting her hometown for the first time in a long while. While catching up with old friends, you’ll have the opportunity to split a pizza. To unlock the achievement “Crusty,” you must only choose the half-eaten crusts dropped by Greg.
Your strange behavior earns you a trophy as well as raised eyebrows. Your friends call you a “maniac” for not following proper decorum by eating your own pizza slices. This unique dialogue is hilarious and adds to the charm of Possum Springs’ adventure.
Sometimes, the best pranks necessitate mildly unhinged actions. Who would opt for discarded pizza crust when you could instead have a full slice? And what about the germs? Befuddle others with your bad choices and enjoy the fallout.
4. Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge
The Monkey Island series prides itself on its comedy. This point-and-click adventure is chock-full of jokes, ranging from dark humor to innocent wit. While many achievements could have earned a spot on a list of the most hilarious video game achievements, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge caught our eye.
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge was originally released in 1991, with a special edition on the PlayStation 3 made available in 2010. This later release included a set of trophies for completionists to enjoy! The achievement “Helium Inhaler” could be earned near the end of the game by—you guessed it—breathing in helium. In particular, this could be done with either a balloon or a rubber glove.
For those unaware, helium is a non-toxic gas that is frequently used inside balloons to make them float. When inhaled, this gas causes the subject’s voice to sound higher-pitched. In practice, it is a humorous side effect that has been a major gag in many parties.

3. Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy is an ambitious open-world game set in the world of Harry Potter. It tells the story of a young witch or wizard balancing school life and a burgeoning war, many years before the events of the book series. Although Hogwarts Legacy received significant criticism upon its release, interested trophy hunters will be glad to know that many of its bugs have been ironed out over the years.
For our purposes in this article, we will turn our attention toward a specific trophy. “Spilled Milk” is unlocked by using the Flipendo spell ten times on unsuspecting livestock. As the name suggests, you quite literally lift a cow into the air and flip it upside down!
This action is not unlike the real-life practice of cow tipping, in which a person sneaks up on a sleeping cow and pushes it over. However, despite many pop culture references suggesting the contrary, cow tipping is just an urban myth.
Real or not, flipping cows with magic is an excellent way to relieve stress in Hogwarts Legacy when the game’s extensive completion requirements get you down. Take in the amusing ragdoll physics on display and try not to feel too guilty on behalf of the mooing creature. After all, there’s no use in crying over spilled milk!
2. Grim Fandango
Grim Fandango is a bizarre game that has to be seen to be believed. Its unique design choices stand out even by modern-day standards, twenty-five years past its original release. This point-and-click adventure was developed by LucasArts, the same minds behind Monkey Island.
The achievement “Scaring the living is technically against the rules, but we all do it” is earned by speaking to the three people inside the diner before interacting with the bodybag. Successfully doing so will net you a trophy and a voiceline.
The quirky nature of the title is no more obvious than when going for this trophy. The expressions of the patrons warp noticeably and in uncanny ways. To get an idea of what this looks like, one of the people you speak with is pictured in the trophy icon.

1. Yakuza Kiwami
The Yakuza series is notorious for its difficulty among trophy hunting circles. Evidently, it’s harder than you think to make a clean break from a life of crime. Kiryu knows this better than anyone, as a former member of the Yakuza who gets dragged into all kinds of trouble against his better judgment.
The one constant headache Kiryu must face comes in the form of Majima. This obsessive man makes it his number one goal to get in Kiryu’s way, no matter the stakes. If you’re wandering the streets of Japan in Yakuza Kiwami, you’re likely to get ambushed by Majima.
While there are many different methods of approach that all have their own respective trophies, “Majima From Below” is unlocked once you’ve had the pleasure of watching Majima climb out of a manhole. The lengths he goes to just to fight you are incredible.
The trophy icon shows the accompanying scene but doesn’t quite do it justice. There is something truly hysterical about watching Majima rise from the sewers with his iconic “Kiryu-chan” drawl. The more you witness his antics, the more comical they become, too.
Not a fan of “Majima From Below?” There’s always “Majima From Above.” There are tons of trophies related to fighting Majima in a variety of styles and circumstances.
